43/100 #100DayProject Journal #13 --Jim & Jinx's Anniversary Trip
Jim and I went to Bend (no--not Boston) for our 7th Anniversary. I collected stuff and made a small journal (4"x8") to hold it all.
I also included space to write about the places we went and the things we did. It's a paper bag journal. That means it has lots of pockets to hold stuff we picked up along the way.

A little braggin'...
A little bragging rights, here...
I entered my 18"x24" zentangle on watercolor, called: Undersea Garden, in a juried art show at The Dalles Art Center this March.
The piece took 4th place. I'm not kidding... I was just happy to be in the show; I never expected to see a ribbon hanging next to my art.
I was too excited to see the picture was hanging crooked. Oh, well.

42/100 100DayProject Journal #12 Montgomery Ward
This is my first paper bag journal. The front and back are covered with pages from an old Montgomery Ward catalog and inside the pages are small kraft paper bags.
Look for the tabs on the right side of the journal. They are attached to cards in each of the pockets formed by the paper bags. Pull them out and there is a place to write, draw, or glue some pictures, postcards, anything you like.
41/100 100DayProject (Journal #11) Spirit Animal
The Tiniest Journal, just 3 3/4"x1 3/4", that I have made, so far.
My friend, Sally, shared with me her interest in the spiritual meaning of animals in Native American culture. She pointed me to a website where I enjoyed reading about the meaning of so many different animal spirits.
I made this little journal to make it easy to refer to whenever I wished. It fits nicely in my purse, or even a pocket.

40/100 #100 DayProject (Journal #10) Life is Good
Here it is! Journal #10 -- Full of fun tags, pockets, there are plenty of aged journal pages to write on, and lots of interesting vintage ephemera. The pages are made from stained coffee filters and the whole thing is tied together with a ribbon that wraps around from the back cover to a knob on front that the ribbon wraps around and is then tied into a bow to hold it all in place.
