I was watching YouTube videos and a lady was demonstrating how she makes some tiny 2"-4" tiles. Some are small enough to make jewelry, which I am not in the least interested in at this moment.
But I was fascinated by the layers she used to produce the small art pieces. Never one to say, "size doesn't matter," I decided to try her technique, but on a larger surface. I cut 2 tiles, each 4"x5" and proceeded to decorate them using the steps she demonstrated on her video.
These are the results of that experiment. So, all night long I woke up periodically wondering what I might do with two pieces of art, so small (in my mind)?
I'm really into making journals and books, these days: so I might turn them into covers for a couple of tiny books; or I might put a clock works behind each one and hang them on the wall. I suppose I could just frame them; but for now they sit on two small easels and I just admire them as I pass by.
