Zentangle Class at Columbia Center for the Arts and 2 wonderful students.

This first attempt at Zentangle turned out so beautiful.
This is a mono-tangle that I taught them toward the end of the class.  It's called Paradox.
Yesterday, February 18, 2017, I taught a Zentangle class for two ladies, Christy and Pam, who had never done Zentangle before.

They were so enthusiastic and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves the whole time.  Christie went home and did an enhanced version of her Zentangle and sent me the picture you can see below.  I am so proud of her.  She does beautiful work and I'm happy to say she wants to go on with Zentangle and continue to learn.

Take a look at the gorgeous work she did on her first try.  Not only did she shade it beautifully; but she added that touch of red that really made it pop!:

As a teacher, I couldn't be happier, for her or for me.
